# College Sport Offer Summary

### Minimum Student Sport Pass Membership

All Sport Groups must meet the minimum membership requirements. Standard minimum membership requirements are set as having a sufficient number of Student Sport Pass members within the Sport Group to meet the maximum playing squad size for all teams.

Should a club not meet the minimum membership numbers by the end of Week 5, they will be invoiced for any shortfall in Student Sport Pass members.

### Required Group Affiliations, Officials & Insurances

For all teams in this tier, their offer will include:

- FA & England Netball Affiliation.
- Any appropriate group insurances required for them to compete in there agreed competition.
- Match Officials for all matches within the competition offer.

### Training Facilities

Training will be provided as outlined below:

- - One of the following: 
          - Football: 1 x 90-minute Astroturf session/week for 20 weeks per 2 teams
          - Football: 1 x 60-minute 3G session/week for 20 weeks per 2 teams 
                  - Where clubs only have one team, they would have to take 60-minute option and be given half the 3G.
          - Netball: 1 x 90-minute Hardcourt session/week for 20 weeks per 2 teams
          - All competitive college sport training offers will commence on the Monday following the end of the Intervarsity summer pre-season training window, and will run for 20 consecutive semester weeks.
          - Where clubs have more than two teams, all teams will be allocated training at the same time across multiple playing areas where possible.
          - A club’s training slots allocated under this offer (Standard Intervarsity training sessions, Focus Sport performance training sessions, and development sessions), shall be fixed in the timetable. Any club wishing to alter one of these training times or slots must contact Lancaster University Sports Centre and will only be able to choose from available times. Once a training time has been changed, this time replaces the previous booking. The previous booking time will then be released for booking by other users, or student groups.

### Competition

The Competition Offer is as follows:

- An Eight Match League Competition
- A two-tier unseeded knockout competition (The Trophy & Cup), with teams guaranteed a minimum of two matches.
- A Roses Final Four Competition for Both first teams & second teams. The exact format shall be confirmed annually by the Intervarsity Sport Coordinator with ratification from the Sport Committee, but the qualification for Final Four must ensure that all 1st & 2nd teams in D1&2 are (at the start of the season) able to qualify for their respective Final Four Competitions.
- A College Select Match at Roses
- First Team & Second Team matches at Roses

### Playing Kit

All Sport Groups are bound by the Students’ Union Kit & Teamwear agreement. Playing kit will be subsidised for Sport Groups under the standard offer as follows:

- A full-team kit allocation will be defined as the maximum matchday squad size. In the case where this does not result in a whole number, it shall be rounded up to the next whole number.
- Each funded team shall receive up to 35% of their full team playing kit allocation subsidised per year.
