You can access BUCS Play by downloading the app to your phone, or through your internet browser. All students competing in BUCS **must** join their Sport Community on BUCS Play. The team captain can then select and add them to the team sheet. All information about BUCS Play, registering  ### Role of a BUCS Captain on match day #### BUCS Play Captain When appointed as a BUCS Captain, you will need to join your relevant community on BUCS Play. Then contact the SU requesting to be added as a BUCS Captain. You will not be able to complete team sheets or submit scores if this isn't done.  #### Team Sheet BUCS Captains **must** complete a team sheet before every BUCS fixture. Failure to do so could result in a fine. You should carry a [paper team sheet](https://www.bucs.org.uk/rules-and-regulations/general-regulations/appendices.html) in case of signal issues. All players must have photo ID with them at every fixture. As a BUCS Captain, you should cross check the opposing teams ID's with their team sheet and either approve or dispute their team sheet on BUCS Play.  If necessary, you can complete a [Play Under Protes](https://www.bucs.org.uk/rules-and-regulations/general-regulations/appendices.html)t form. [BUCS General Regulations](https://www.bucs.org.uk/rules-and-regulations/general-regulations.html) has information on PUP.  #### Score Upload At the end of your fixture, you must upload the score to BUCS Play.  ### BUCS Transport The Students' Union funds transport to and from the majority of BUCS league and knockout fixtures. Groups will typically be provided with a coach to travel in. On some occasions, groups will be asked to travel via train/bus/car/minibus and will be reimbursed for the cost. Reimbursement form. #### Via Coach A transport list will be uploaded to the LUSU Sport group on Teams. Transport lists will be shared no later than the Monday prior to fixtures. Coach pickup/dropoff is from the Southern Car Park, located on Alexandra Park Drive/South West Campus. In town pick-ups can be arranged for weekend or early fixtures, and the pickup location will be White Cross Bus Stop (South) or Infirmary Bus Stop (North). On the day of fixtures, groups must arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Team captains should make themselves known to the driver and exchange numbers in case of any problems. #### Via Train/Bus/Car/Minibus If your group are asked to travel via train/bus/car/minibus, the Students' Union will reimburse you for the cost of tickets/fuel. Fuel will be reimbursed at 55p/mile and is calculated using the shortest return route from Lancaster University Campus to the venue. Groups travelling via train/bus must keep any tickets/receipts from the travel day to be used when submitting a reimbursement form. Groups travelling via car must [register as a driver.](https://campus.hellorubric.com/submit_form?fid=7834) Groups wishing to hire a Minibus from the SU must: - Have a group member/s who have passed a [Minibus Assessment](https://campus.hellorubric.com/submit_form?fid=8086) with the SU. - Request [Minibus Use.](https://portal.hellorubric.com/submit_form?fid=8039) First priority will be given to SU funded activity. ### BUCS Match Officials In most cases, it is the responsibility of the group to arrange and fund match officials for home fixtures. This does not apply to Rugby Union or Rugby League.
