How Do I Get A Sponsorship For My Society/Club?

Societies & clubs at LUSU can earn additional income through sponsorships with external businesses/organisations. Typical sponsorship deals involve social media promotion in exchange for a "Sponsorship Fee" (and sometimes additional benefits i.e. exclusive discounts).
All sponsorships made with external businesses i.e. restaurants, bars, housing companies, must be sent to LUSU Advertising for approval and invoicing.
To ensure all societies and clubs are protected for legal purposes, we strongly recommend using the LUSU Sponsorship Templates. You can access the templates via this link - Society Sponsorship Agreements
Once you have completed your template and have agreed all the details with your sponsor. Please email the contract to lusuadvertising@lancaster.ac.uk for approval.
You will only be able to sign your contract with your sponsor once you have received written approval from a member of our Commercial Marketing team.
The team will then create an invoice on your behalf which you must send to the sponsor as quickly as possible.
